TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL
Xander Xpress Car Rentals LLC (North Carolina)
1. OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS & IDENTIFICATION
All Renters and Authorized Drivers must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. Drivers aged 21–24 are subject to a daily Young Driver Fee of $15.00 – $25.00. Renters must provide two (2) forms of valid identification (e.g., Driver’s License and a Passport or Utility Bill). It is a violation of law and this agreement to provide any fraudulent or altered identification. Xander Xpress reserves the right to report fake identification to law enforcement.

2. FAILURE TO RETURN & NORTH CAROLINA LAW
The vehicle must be returned to the agreed-upon location on the date and time specified in the Rental Summary. Under North Carolina General Statute § 14-167, the failure to return a hired vehicle within 72 hours after the time agreed for its return, with the intent to defeat the owner's rights, constitutes Larceny. If the vehicle is valued at more than $1,000, this is a Class H Felony. Xander Xpress will report all unreturned vehicles to the police as stolen.

Renter must maintain active liability and collision insurance. 4. SECURITY DEPOSIT & FINANCIALS
A security deposit between $250.00 and $350.00 is required. This deposit may be used to cover damage, fuel shortages, or late fees.
5. STRICT NO-SMOKING POLICY
Xander Xpress is a 100% smoke-free fleet. The presence of smoke odor or ash will result in the immediate and total forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

6. GEOGRAPHIC AND USE RESTRICTIONS
Travel is restricted to North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Travel outside these states requires prior written authorization. The vehicle shall not be used for-hire (Uber/Lyft), racing, or off-roading.

7. TOLLS, FINES, AND ADMINISTRATIVE FEES
Renter is liable for all tolls and traffic fines. A $25.00 administrative fee will be charged per violation processed by Xander Xpress.

8. FUEL AND CLEANLINESS
Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at pickup. Excessive dirt, trash, or pet hair will result in detailing fees deducted from the deposit.
